Everton comes off an emotional 2-0 hosting West Ham, manager Moyes' last (going to Man U). Mirrallas bagged both but with their dreams of Euro qualification gone, this has nothing in it for them. Despite their over achievement again this term, sixth, they're just four from 18 on the road and bring an over reliance on the midfield for goals.
This is the third in seven days for Chelsea following the midweek victory in the Europa Cup final over Benfica in Amsterdam and the 2-1 over Villa last out when Benteke's red allowed them back into it. They may be without Terry and Hazard (niggles), but with CL qualification safe and some more silverware they should come free. In fact being manager Benitez's last he might opt for Ba and Torres together up top. They won it away in December but they don't do Everton easy, two wins the previous 10, four draws at Stamford Bridge that period.
Chelsea by 1

QPR went down 1-2 hosting Newcastle despite going ahead and with magpies keeper sent off to boot. Remy was again the sole sign of quality and most expect to leave and don't want to be out there. They're consigned to the wooden spoon and this looks way beyond them in this mood, six losses their last eight and 11 from 18 on the road.
A 3-1 away over Fulham again marked Liverpool for what might have been, Sturridge's hatrick indicating there's life without Suarez. On 61% possession they created double the chances and are now unbeaten seven with manager Rodgers declaring; 'if we add consistency to this level of invention we'll be in the CL spots next year'. And sure, but many think it should have been this year. They've scored 11 from their last four, went 3-0 visiting, and, opposing a now tired as well as porous defence, a blow out wouldn't surprise.
Liverpool by 2

Norwich avoided the drop with a 4-0 hammering of WBA hosting, four different scorers highlighting their dominance across the park on a massive 70% possession. With safety assured it's hard to know whether they'll go all out or ease off but their away record (one win all season), suggests a long day.
A 2-0 for City visiting Reading (Aguero and Dzeko), perhaps quelled some of the FA Cup misery after they were lowered in the final by Wigan. A few here will be out to impress new manager Pellegrini (Malaga), after Mancini was sacked last week, and at 14 wins from 17 hosting they'll lift for the fans. Not all their stars will make the list next season but they'll be on display here and should walk it. Three meetings have returned three wins for City (6-1 when Norwich visited last season), at a goal aggregate of 15-5 so expect goals.
Manchester City by 2

A goal down and with 10 men on, Newcastle showed character to edge QPR 2-1 away and secure EPL safety. Manager Pardew commented after that he didn't care about the result here which could yet have him in the stalls as punishment. They're nine from 18 hosting and the fans will be rapt, but Arsenal are chasing a win for CL qualification.
The latter stayed on the pole in their dice with Spurs for the last CL spot sending Wigan down in a 4-1 hammering hosting, Podolski (2) setting it and Walcott and Ramsey killing it off. They're looking quite fluid and the equation is simple; they win they make it, they draw and Spurs win (hosting Sunderland), they miss. Effectively its a must. They'll set up to attack and although only 50% on the road they're in great form and returning Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gervinho they'll present nearly full list. They're 5-1-4 the last 10 with Newcastle but the caution is they've only won once at St James Park that period (four draws), and you wouldn't necessarily take Pardew on face.

Stoke put up a brave fight hosting Spurs but succumbed 1-2 after Adam's red allowed the visitor back. Tough, given they defended resiliently throughout but results elsewhere made them safe a relieved manager Pulis declaring; 'I'm delighted for us to be in the EPL for a sixth successive season, not easy for a club our size', presumably a dig at fans who've been calling for his head. With a clearout expected, safety achieved, and two wins on the road all season they might be second best here.
Puncheon's late goal gave the Saints a 1-1 visiting Sunderland and securing their future. With three wins and just two losses their last eight they've been solid if unspectacular on the run in. They drew this visiting and at 6-6-6 hosting, with Ramirez and Rodriguez feeding off Lambert's hold up play, they've the guile and technique to deliver it for the fans.
Southampton by 1

A 1-3 loss hosting Liverpool had Fulham drop within reach of Wigan and scrambling to avoid the last relegation spot. Their over reliance on Berbatov was in evidence again. He put them ahead but their leaky defence was opened time and again by the Reds, both Hughes and Hangeland looking lost in central defence and the central midfield pair of Enoh and Karagounis barely visible. Now they're safe you'd expect a return to the mediocre of recent months.
The latter almost ruined retiring Man U manager Ferguson's Old Trafford farewell before a late goal saw them edged 1-2. The scoreline aside they were well stuffed managing 36% possession and two shots on target. Manager Laudrup saved his comments for Ferguson; 'he's an amazing manager who's set the standard for all of us', and his silence on the Swans and their form adds fuel to the rumours linking him with the vacant Everton job. They're one win the last eight, but have lost just four hosting. They've had the wood on the visitor, three from three at an aggregate of 7-0, and got it 2-0 when they hosted Fulham last season.
Swansea by 1

Sunderland continued its creep to safety hosting Southampton to a hard fought 1-1 after Bardsley looked to have got them the points against the run before the Saints equalised. Their last three goals (in three games - one loss, two draws) have come from defenders. Perhaps Sessegnon's return (suspension) gives them some goal threat but now safe, and 10 defeats on the road, suggests anything close to Spurs true form would be beyond the Black Cats.
The latter kept in the CL chase with a 2-1 visiting a 10 man Stoke. Adebayor scored a second vital goal in a week now they need to win here and for Arsenal to lose or draw (visiting Newcastle). Manager Vilas Boas praised his side's patience; 'it would have been easy to just lump it forward but we kept playing to our strengths and broke them down'. And sure, but what now. Its massive and perhaps easier now Sunderland are safe. They're three wins, two draws the last five meetings and its '08 since Sunderland won at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham by 1

WBA is off a dismal showing at Norwich, outplayed and outfought, manager Clarke calling the 0-4; 'our worst of the season by a distance'. They're guaranteed top 10 and with loan star Lukaku heading back to Chelsea and fellow forward Odemwingie looking for the exit neither has the hunger to compete suggesting a lack of goals. They haven't the quality to contain the United, and are three losses straight hosting.
Despite the Old Trafford farewell for manager Ferguson last week, this is his last ever and if they're over the last party they'll be out to lift once more. They dominated Swansea but it took Ferdinand's first in five years late on to secure it. Rooney will sit this out too after requesting a transfer pre game last week but Hernandez replaced him seamlessly. They're 11 wins and two draws with WBA back to '02, six straight at the Hawthorns that period.
Manchester United by 1

Reading ended their home games completely dominated in a 0-2 with City creating seven chances against 27. This will be the last for many in EPL, notwithstanding Robson-Kanu, Pogrebnyak, and Le Fondre look likely to get picked up by other sides in the summer.
A sobering 0-2 visiting Everton reminded how far WHU have to go to succeed in the EPL. They were second to every ball prompting manager Allardyce to declare; 'I warned them how difficult this was going to be but they took no notice'. A win here ensures top 10 and with just four defeats from 18 at Upton Park, and Carroll playing his last (loan period ended), they'll be after it. They won it visiting earlier and you wouldn't think Reading will bring much heart.
West Ham by 1

Villa comes to the final day safe off another quality performance, albeit a loss, 1-2 hosting Chelsea. Benteke bagged his 19th in an incredible debut season but followed it by being sent, manager Lambert declaring; 'we should have won... we were so in control it was ridiculous'. And sure, they're playing well, albeit fortunate Wigan went down midweek given the loss of Benteke. Perhaps Bent will step up from the bench and prove his international class. They're 3-1-2 the last six meetings, a much better side than when going down 0-3 hosting in December, and with some celebrating to do.
For all that, and despite collapsing 1-4 to Arsenal mid week, Wigan fans have a FA Cup to celebrate (the first in 70 odd years to win it while being relegated), and they'll show it. Fatigue hit them second half mid week but rested they'll go for it here, Kone and Di Santo in particular certain to give a reminder of their international pedigree. It will be a great game with plenty of goals and could go either way.
